Overview

Since 1950, NASC has provided opportunities for students and advisors to come together, share ideas, and learn how to be better leaders in their schools and communities. All Nebraska middle and high schools are members of NASC and will receive communication, access to awards and scholarships, State Convention, and more.

  • Apply for the State Board

Outstanding student leaders are always needed to serve as NASC State Officers. The State President and Vice President are elected at the State Convention, while the Secretary is appointed by current Executive Board members. All officers must be freshmen, sophomores, or juniors at an NASC member school, and must have attended the NASC Summer Leadership Workshop. Chief responsibilities include participation in four Executive Board meetings (September, November, February, and April), as well as an orientation retreat; promotion of the state charity and service projects; and representating NASC at district, state, regional, and national events. Email questions to Mike Musil at mmusil@paplv.org or Kyrie Nehls at kenehls@mpsomaha.org
Applications must be submitted by November 1.
