Participation in district activities within Nebraska
Staying updated on state events through the NASC Web site
Participation in NASC Awards and Recognition program
Sending delegates to the NASC National Convention
Attending regional activities sponsored by the national association
Attending the NASC Summer Leadership Workshops
Having free one-day workshops facilitated at your school by Launch Leadership, Inc.
Eligibility for Outstanding Student Council Award, Outstanding Adviser Award, and scholarships for outstanding seniors.
Membership dues are used to support administrative expenses, including printing and postage, Web site hosting and maintenance, board meeting expenses, accounting costs, scholarships and awards, and accounting costs. NASC is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation run entirely by volunteers. We are sponsored by the Nebraska State Association of Secondary School Principals. NASC dues are minimal compared to other state student council organizations across the nation, and NASC members haven't seen an increase in their dues for more than ten years.
