It's never too early to apply!
NASC member schools are eligible to participate in the awards and recognition program sponsored each year in conjunction with the senior high State Convention. Award nominations/forms must be received by the Executive Director no later than October 1st of each year.

State Awards
Only 8 (one per district) can become All-State Student Council members, one of whom will receive the Ron Joekel Scholarship.

One outstanding student council member per district is eligible for this award. One of these eight is selected for the Ron Joekel All-State Student Council Member of the Year and awarded a $500 scholarship.

For retiring advisers of more than ten years of service.

The NASC National Council of Excellence Award provides national recognition for middle school student councils that consistently provide quality leadership activities and service to their schools and communities. Take your leadership to the next level as you work to earn national recognition as an NASC Certified Student Leader (CSL). The CSL award is a program set up by the National Association of Student Councils to recognize individual leaders and provide a record of your leadership for college applications.
